WHERE IS FIT CLUB YORK?
Our gym is based on Redeness Street, York. YO31 7UU.
WHEN ARE THE GROUP SESSIONS?
We run sessions every weekday morning (between 6-11am) and evening (between 4.30-7.30pm) plus Saturday mornings (between 8-11am).
I AM NEW TO THE GYM. DO I NEED TO BE FIT?
No – we’ll make sure you’re working at a pace that matches your experience and fitness level. Most people who sign up to Fit Club are beginners or have returned after a long period of inactivity so there’s no need to worry.
HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSIONS?
Once you’ve completed payment you’ll be sent an invitation to our booking system- Team Up. It’s super easy to use.
DO I NEED A GYM INDUCTION BEFORE MY FIRST SESSION?
No. All sessions are coached by a Personal Trainer so there’s no need for an induction. We simply ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your first session to allow for an orientation by one of the team.
WHEN DOES THE 6 WEEK CHALLENGE START?
Your challenge will run for 6 weeks from the day of your first group session. We take people throughout the year but limit the number of starters each week to ensure that you get enough one-to-one attention in each session. Any unused sessions at the end of your challenge will be lost.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY 6 WEEK CHALLENGE?
You can choose to become a full-time member or we can part ways if you decide we’re not for you.
DO YOU ALLOW SINGLE ‘DROP IN’ SESSIONS?
We do not allow one-off / ‘drop in’ sessions at Fit Club. If you’re unsure if the 6 Week Challenge is for you, please contact us and one of the team will be in touch. We can also arrange for you to visit Fit Club to see the gym and answer any questions.
IS IT MANDATORY TO COMPLETE THE 6 WEEK CHALLENGE OR CAN I JUMP STRAIGHT INTO A REGULAR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP?
Monthly membership plans are designed to work as follow-on options only. If you can confidently bench, squat and deadlift, or if you’re a returning ex member, you are free to bypass the 6WC.
